Printers are way behind the times...

Last week, I was browsing a used book store and I looked at the old National Geographics and I noticed something... The color pictures printed in 1939 look better than the best of today's printers can do on plain paper!

Don't you think by now (after 60+ years) we should be able to print decent looking photos on a plain piece of paper with a desktop printer? National Geographic did it in 1939!

I think HP, Epson, Canon, Lexmark are holding out on us!

You're not serious? Do you really think they used a desktop printer to print a 1939 National Geographic? Do you think they used regular printer paper that you can buy at Office Max? Desktop printers these days can do it, but they aren't for the consumer. You could get a $10,000 color laser printer that would do the job just fine.
