Printer won't stop..

I am trying to solve a printer problem on a network.

The problem is that when a job is sent to the printer. e.g (PRINT OUT PAGE 1 ONLY, ONCE).

It decides to print out about 10 sheets or 15, or more....
Also it will sometimes print out in landscape, when portrait is selected all the time....

Does anybody know what could be causing this???


By the way it's a HP Deskjet 990Cxi

wrong printer driver? uninstall drivers and reinstall.

reset printer completely

reset computers and if there's a hub controlling printer restart that too.
