Printer: USB and Parallel

I have an HP Laserjet 3015, which has parallel and USB connections.

I also have two computers that can't be networked together, but I need to use the printer for both. Rather than unplugging and plugging USB all the time, can I connect one computer to the parallel port, and the other to the USB?
 
Just give it a try. With my old HP Deskjet 900-series it did work, but with another HP it did not work 😉
