printer supplies

Several questions:

Could anybody recommend a good printer supplies retailer?
Also, is there a lot of people refill catridges by themselves, or use remanufactured ones?
How would either of the two alternatives affect print quality, printer life, or warranty?
Appreciate any advice.

Day to day stuff is fine for the refills. If you plan to refill photo inks you've got a screw loose. If you have an epson I wouldn't try anything other than their inks. They clog up enough on their own. I'd hate to see what Johnny's Low Cost Inkaporium's inks would do to them.

Atlantic Exchange Inc comes highly rated by a coworker of mine. I haven't tried them yet but I will be.

Traditionally I just use Buy.com. They've been okay. (Have to buy in some bulk to cut shipping down.)

Good place to buy from with good shipping rates as well... 😉

BTW I`ve been dealing with these people for several years... 🙂

I've been refilling my Lexmark and HP printers for years. The print quality is better with original cartridge. For the most part, I am not as color sensitive that it matters to me. With my kids and everyone using the printer, it saves me big $$$$. I use inksell.com (hp) and mrinkjet.com (lexmark) for my supplies. I have yet to have any leakage, spills, etc. The thing to remember when refilling is not to be impatient and not to overfill.
