I have a Canon all in one printer and recently whenever I go to print it prints out a blank page first followed by the document and then another blank page. The Document prints correctly. Does anyone have any ideas? Google was not very helpful...
First thing is to try another weight of paper .. some printers do not like
say 20Lb paper or lighter as it is too thin. Also check the paper path
for anything that should not be in there. And if it has been in use a long
while, you may need to clean the pickup rollers.
Yup, I think nerp has it. It sounds like one or more things in the chain is set to spit out a separator page either before or after a print job or both. Need to check the printer settings as well as the application settings to find out where it's happening and then change to suit. Most places that use separator sheets have the printer on a network with several users so it is easy to see where one job ends and another begins. Some also have a collection tray to gather and reuse the separators. So one of the settings could be in the networking setup rather than specifically in the printer or application.
