Printer sharing

I have been trying to get access to the printer connected to the base pc that is hardwired to the router but dispite being successful in the past have been having no success lately. Am I wrong, I should be able to connect from a wireless pc through the router through this other pc to the printer that is connect to it via the printer cable.

If you can access the shared printer through a wired connection (i.e. if it is set up correctly), then you can access it through a wireless connection as well.

Are you able to see the shared printer on the network but can't print to it? Or can you not see the printer at all from the other computer(s) on your network?

Make sure that the Software Firewall on each computer allows free local traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall On, Vista/XP Native Firewall should be Off, and the active Firewall has to adjusted to your Network IP numbers on what is some time called the Trusted Zone (consult your 3rd Party Firewall instructions.
