Hi there..ive just bought a Kensington share-central 5 that Im having issues with!
I hope someone out there can help!

I have a Medion Computer running Vista and a dell laptop running XP. The share central
software is installed. My problem is that with everything connected, (i.e. with one USB from the share central connected to the XP laptop and the other USB from the Share-central to the Vista computer), when I try to start up the vista machine it stops starting up and freezes at the first Intel icon, i.e before getting to my password page. It does this with or without the Kensington software driver installed.
The XP machine starts up fine always, and sees/picks-up the share-central ok with or without the driver software Installed and does see the removable drive or printer or what ever i have connected to the share central at all times.
When I disconnect the USB from the share-central to the Medion Vista computer the Vista computer starts up fine. This happens either with or without the supplied drivers installed. I know that the Medion machine is working well and only ever fails to start when the share-central USB is connected.
This is the case with or without share-central driver installed. and with or without the XP machine connected. I have tried changing USB cables and have swapped the imputs around.. Both work imputs work with the XP machine so i feel faily sure that the USB cables and both outputs of the share-central are ok.
I have managed to get the share-central running with the Vista machine once when i plugged in the USB from the share-central to the vista machine after it had started up..but when i powered down the vista machine and then restarted I had the same problem of the vista machine freezing at start up.
I think that the vista machine needs to be re-configured somewhere, as it seems to be being stopped from starting up by the USB signal coming from the share central.
Can anyone help?..is there a setting on my Vista computer anyone can suggest that i change?
Im thinking of perhaps something like the device manager or add hardware section,.or something similar so that Vista "sees" the share-central and allows it to start correctly
Thanks in advance
