Printer Sharing between Win 2k and Win 98

I have a problem trying to share files/printer between a windows 2000 machine and a win 98 box.

The printer is on the Windows 2000 machine. And I want to share it to a windows 98 box.
Now I don't know if this makes a difference but both are connected on a wireless lan.

The Windows 2000 machine can see and view any shared files from the Win 98 box,
however when your on the Win 98 box, you cannot browse the network. You can search
and find the Win2k box by search computer, but you cannot view anything on the Win2k box.
It says machine unaccessable.

Now I know i can share a file from the 98 box to the 2k box. But for some reason I cannot go
the other way. Which lends me to ask is it possible? If so what might I be doing wrong. I though
I had everything setup correctly.

I also cannot seem to figure out why I cannot browse the network on the 98 box. And why the 2k box
can see the 98 box but not vice versa.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to create an account on the 2000 system, so that the 98 system can access any shared items, like the printer. The account usually should be the user name that is used on the 98 system. You need to check and see that both systems have the security risk, file and printer sharing, turned on. This should enable the 98 system to find the browse the network neighborhood. For ease of finding each other, having the netbui protocol installed works, but can be a bit chatty on the lan.
