printer server and HP 1210 multifunction.....

I am having trouble making my HP 1210 work with my printer server (axis 5550).

When it tries to find the IP for the printer server, it says it finds the server, but the pirnter is not connected. I tried setting it up manually this way, but it cannot the file (autorun.inf) that is able to make the installation complete.

I am guessing that since it is a multifunction, it may need another way to connect to the network.

Any guesses?

Autorun.inf is normally associated with starting up software that is on a CD. So is the Axis print server looking for software to finish installing? Or perhaps the printer is looking for a CD to install drivers or other software?

Just guessing, but I think that is what is happening.
