I'm interested in the copying function of a dedicated laser printer plus scanner verses an all in one multifunction machine. I've had two Brother multifunctions that both had scanner quality issues (serious diagonal lines and crooked pages). I'm wondering how much of a trade off it would be to get a dedicated scanner for occasional copying. I need a laser printer with duplex printing and preferably network capable. I do a fair amount of copying, sometimes in a hurry. The machines I tried and had trouble with are the Brother 8660dn from Costco.
