I have a AIO HP networked printer that is causing me trouble. The tech to fix it will cost $300+ and its 2+ years old. I can buy the exact printer new for $420 or so.

My question is: If it is the exact printer, and I replace the printer, will it work with all the current installs or would I need to reinstall the printer on all the machines?

Definitely. Heck, I switch between 2 printers with the same drivers installed. They both got recognized on the spot.

I don't see why not unless the IP address of the printer changes... but that would simply be a matter of locating it on the network. Shouldn't have to uninstall everything.

You should not need to reinstall anything. But you may need to change
certain options within the printer as regards your LAN, Time, FAX, Wireless
(if it has one) settings.
