Printer question

So its about 4 years old, and hasnt been used in 2 years. Got it out today, and realized the magenta ink was gone. Went online, bought 4 new black, and two of each color. Comes in mail, replace all the old ink carts. Printer seems to like 3rd party ink (no errors), and my new epson (CX7800) has been running great on this same brand of ink since it was bought.

Problem is, I get no color whatsoever, and a lot of white lines through anything I try to copy. I have done the head cleaning 5 times, alligned the cart, etc many times, and nothing changes.

Printer is not hooked up to computer, so all I have done is tried to copy a color image. Comes out all black and nasty with white lines. Tried just b&w and same thing happens.

Any ideas? I think that I may have to physically unclog the print heads? Will leaving a printer off with no usage for 2 years clog things up?

Have to get this thing going by thursday, so any help is greatly appriciated.

I now think my problem is that one of the color heads is clogged, and therefore when it tries to print a color image, the head smears the rest of the ink and makes it look like crap. How can I clean the head physically? (the head cleaner on the printer doesnt do jack)
