ok guys

At work here 2 of the pc's are connected to a hub. I can see the other computer. My problem is the printers, I can't
seem to share them. I have an Epson Color Stylus 880. It has a USB cable attached to it going to the CPU. In Network Neighborhood I added File and Print Sharing for Microsoft but I still don't have the Sharing tab within the Printer properties. I don't think the USB has anything to do with being able to SHARE. Will I need a parallel cable to do that? or am I wrong in that? I would appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks in Advance.

I don't know the answer to your problem, but I can tell you that I have an Epson 900 USB here at home on our LAN. I'm using a crossover cable though.

If I go to Printer Prop on the machine the printer is actually installed on, the sharing tab is there. I have installed the drivers on the other machine and no sharing tab.

It's been a while since I set all this up, but when you installed the printer on the sharing machine, did you check the box for shared printer, or on a network or whatever it says? I can't remember. I'll bet if you reinstall the drivers with that option you will be all set.
