Printer Question: ¨Injector¨ needs cleaning?

I got an old printer here in this office, and antique in fact, a HP Deskjet 520 (Inkjet)

There seems to be plenty of ink in the cartridge but it prints as if all the text had a white line going through a small area on each of the letters, that is, some of the letters are blurry.

do i just need a new ink cartridge or whats the deal with the injectors?

thanks in advance

Is there a way to put the printer in a cleaning cycle? I'm not sure how it works w/ that printer...mayber Viper GTS is around 😉

is the "full" cartridge a refill ?

if so, just get a "real" new cartridge

the print head is part of the cartridge, so if you have been refilling it, it is probably worn out

if the "full" cartridge is new, then maybe you got a bad one, try returning it to wherever you bought it, maybe they will exchange it

if it doesn't work with a "Real" new cartridge, then either live with the print quality or chuck it and buy a new printer, an HP DJ 520 isn't worth more than $10 in good working order, one that has issues is worthless

good luck!

yea i tried ¨cleaning ¨ this thing, putting it on clean mode that is 5 times, didnt help, and the ink cartridge is a real HP one
