I have an epson stylus color 860 printer. Yesterday it was printing in all yellow, so I changed the color cartridge...the black was low so I also changed that.

The status monitor shows the carts as being full, but I can't get anything to print....the paper runs through, and it looks/sounds like it's printing but nothing!!

The printer also doesn't work on my laptop now, so I'm pretty sure it's not a software/OS problem.

I've tried 2 different NEW carts, and get the same thing.

Is the printer clogged with ink?? If so what to do?? Any suggestions welcome.

BTW...I've done several "nozzle cleanings" through utilities!

Thanks for your help....AT RAWKS!!

Epsons have a reputation for clogging up easily and firmly. Epson sells a print head cleaning kit just for this occasion but they aren't easy to find. Call the big-box office supply stores (Staples, Office Max, Office Depot, etc.) and perhaps CompUSA in your area to see if they have one. Otherwise you may have to buy online.
Go to Epson's web site to get the part number, then do a google search on it to find a reseller.
