Printer Problem Solved!

Hello, I recently posted a topic about how my HP PS7150 USB 2.0 printer suddenly stopped working with SP2. It would simply shoot out a blank page every time that it printed, unless I told it to print a test page through the HP ToolBox. After A LOT of trouble shooting and frustration, I found the rather odd answer to my problem. For whatever reason, turning on my Parallel port in the BIOS of my motherboard caused my printer to work.
I've always turned off the Parallel port because I use no devices on it, so I just turn it off. My USB 2.0 printer has always worked fine, until SP2. At least now my printer works.

Any comments? Can someone tell me why this is so?
