I run into some major problem with my parent's computer. Today I want to print something but mine is out of ink so I went to my parent's computer to try to print something out. However, when I try to print, it give me some spooler app error and the paper refuse to print.

As I dig through more information, this usually happen with there is something wrong with the registry or virus. I try to run the avast scan there is no virus but it once again say there is error at spooler. Any idea on how to fix it beside reformat the computer. I try running system restore but once it boot it say there is spooler error.

More than likely. there's an error with the printer driver. Before you uninstall/reinstall the printer, have you turned the printer off and turned it back on?

Did you move the document to be printed to your parents' computer, launch the application printing it there and are attempting to print it locally, or are you trying to share the printer connected to your parents' computer from yours, printing remotely?

Does the problem occur for anything you try to print locally, or is it just the document you're trying to print? Are you parents able to print?

Hi,

Go to Start / Run and type in "services.msc" without quotation marks, then press Enter or click OK.

In the window that opens (Services) look for "Print Spooler" on the right

Right-click "Print Spooler" and select "Properties".

Click on the "Recovery" tab and change all 3 drop-down boxes to "Restart The Service".

Make sure the 2 text boxes underneath say "1" in them.

Click Ok until you are back at the Services window, close it and you're good to go.

Go back into the properties of the "Print Spooler" tab and be sure to click Start to restart the Print Spooler service and it will restart the service immediately.

The Print spooler depends on the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service. Is this service disabled? Go to services.msc look for RPC. Check state: Automatic

Hope this helps you.
