Hi all,
I have an HP DeskJet 970Cse printer and i'm pretty sure that since i reinstalled XP (point is it used to work and now it doesn't, can't remember when it stopped working) my printer won't print full jobs. It starts on a page, and more or less randomly stops and then just spits out the half completed page. I tried different drivers (XP vs HP) and new cartridges and all that jazz.
I'm not sure if the problem is windows related or if it's within the printer. But at one point this printer worked great on this machine.
Any ideas? Anyone have a similar problem?
Thanks,
Hendrix

Had the same problem with my HP once I installed XP. Not sure if XP handles print memory differently or maybe the way it spools the documents, but I didn't have that problem under Win98. After upgrading the memory in my printer, (from 1MB to 9MB), I haven't had the problem since. Not sure if this helps or not, but give it a shot. :)

Possibly a resource issue, I've seen one pc do the same thing and it turned out to be the Backpak CD burner that was attached to it. I believe there was a patch put out to fix it but can't recall where it was found off the top of my head....
