: Printer Port Problem..

Recently I purchased an HP Photosmart 7350 which is this :

There seems to be a problem w/ the USB port in the back of the printer though. The front port is for cameras only, but it detects the printer when I plug it in the front port it just comes up with an error such as "You plugged your computer to the printer's front USB port, which is for camera use only". When I plug it in the back, it doesn't detect anything. The port seems kind of loose.

Is there anything I can do? I'm really not good w/ printers.

Thanks in advance,

If you installed the software first before connecting the printer to your computer, I'd say you need to return it for a replacement.

you installed the drivers and all that right?

when i installed my canon i860 i had issues, turns out that i had to follow teh directions they gave me EXACTLY like they said to make it work
