printer only partially printing jobs....what's the problem?

Hi,
Just got some new ink cartridges for my printer and got it hooked up again only to find that it's flaking out on me. It'll print like normal and then just stop part way through, for instance stop halfway through line 30 of a word document. Most of the time it craps out early on in the printing.
Any ideas as to what the problem might be?

by the way it's an HP 970cse running on XP.

I've been having the same problems with an old HP694C. I got so mad at it that I decided to order a Brother HL1440 laser printer Have you tried downloading the HP drivers for your printer? drivers Hope this helps.

Edit: Looks like a known problem...HP sucks!

thanks....it's still doing it tho....and i didn't see anything similar to my problem on the hp forum....what a peice of sh*t.
