I have a Brother Multifunction laser printer (MFC-8640-D) and it has gone through about two toner cartridges. Recently, it has started printing tiny dots (say 15 on an 8x11 page) on everything with one large dot being reproducible and appearing twice (at the same horizontal location).
Is this a symptom of a drum that needs to be replaced or could it be the toner cartridge? (The Brother has separate drum and toner cartidges.)
