printer memory...

Mday

Lifer
i have the HP laserjet 6lse with 1 MB, default..

i am thinking of adding more RAM, it's like $50 something after shipping for 4MB, or $70 for 8MB...

should I? i don't need it that much, but for graphics, 1 MB is NOT enough... not that i do graphics much.

i mean, if i get a new printer, the memory upgrade price is lower

hmmmm.... so confusing... i don't have the money for a new printer, but $50 is A LOT for just 4 MB of RAM...

I think an additional 4MB for a printer is quite enough already... esp you don't do much graphics much... 1 MB is definitely not enough...

I mean, why spend so much $$ on a new printer when you only do graphics once in a while?

I maxed out the memory on my wife's HP III about a year ago. Made a big difference when it came to printing graphics.

Go to Crucial.com and select your printer and you will find 8MB CRUCIAL QUALIFIED CT143060 for $53.09 they have free shiping right now but you will have to pay taxes in New York.
