printer making strange noises...should I be worried?

I've got an HP Deskjet 712C that's about three years old, and it still going strong. But recently I've noticed that it makes these loud, sharp, squeaking noises every time I print something. Doesn't look like anything is going wrong, but it's not supposed to sound like that either. Is this anything I should be worried about? I've been considering getting a new printer that can do a little better job w/digital photos; if something's wrong with this printer it looks like I'll be making the replacement sooner rather than later. What do you think?

Have you gotten any paper jams recently? There might be something stuck or out of place in the printer.

Sounds like some of the rollers in the paper path are squeaking, perhaps time for a little dry lubricant?

If there are no paper jams, it could possibly use a little oil.
