Printer jamming

Hi all-
we have a brother DCP110C printer, about 6 months old. We are trying to print full color flyes, double sided (done by flipping the paper over).
We were able to get a few printed. After that, however, the paper will jam on the second go (flipped side), and chew up the left top corner and mid-side, also leaving black ink on the chewed parts.
What can I do?
Does the printer need cleaning? Or can it just not handle double side?

Have you checked the FAQ on Brother's site? What kind of paper are you using? There is a reason that some paper is marked specifically for laser, inkjet, etc. Sounds like one or more of the feed rollers are getting gunked up - maybe you need to wait longer to do the second side. One can imagine lots of reasons...

Printers usually work fine when their paper-weight requirements are followed. My HPs can handle up to 80# made for Inkjets. Lajerjets use another type and so on. Copier paper may not work, etc, etc. Check your paper.
