printer it wont print sometimes~

ok for some reason i cant print multiple documents.

for example. i print one document, then i proceed to print next document. soemtime is work ok but sometime the print wont print.

i have to cancel the print job then unplug usb cable from the computer for a minute then plug back in. then reprint. it is work fine aftwards.

what is the problem? i used this printer with a old mac i had long time ago and it worked ok.

i recently did the upgrade so im not sure if anything with the printer has changed.

openprinting suggests that the hl1250 driver works well for this. goto System > Administration > Printing and try setting it to that manually and see if it works, if its not already using it.

ive found the openprinting suggestions for drivers to be quite reliable a number of times, fwiw.

ok i installed the hl1250 driver and it printed fine. when i need to print multiple document i will find it if problem is solved.

Also check to make sure it is enabled under the Policies tab on the management page. Don't ask me why but my printer @ home is constantly disabling itself.
