Basically, it won't print

1. Windows seems to recognize it.
2. There is ink.
3. All connections have been checked.
4. I have reset it (unplugged everything for several minutes).
5. I can print from the computer side, but when the printer is going to print, I just get an error.

Printer: HP Deskjet 672C

Thanks guys

Hi Mikey,
This really should go in peripherals, but no matter I guess.
I had a 672c that just plain died. It was a parallel port so there wasn't much to it. You can try uninstalling your drivers and reinstalling them. Does device manger see the printer? When you attempt to print what error do you get?

You don't mention what OS you have but, if you have WinXP, you might want to look at HP's web site. I've been having problems with the scanning portion, and I noticed that WinXP drivers may have to be downloaded to avoid conflicts.

Yes, I fo have Windows XP. I just had to reformat my PC for another reason, and so I had to install the driver again, and it still doesn't work. The printer has previously worked with XP, so I don't get how I could possibly have a problem with the driver now. But I'll take a look at their website. Thanks guys......

Any more suggestions/help?

Drivers can and do get corrupted. Uninstall the printer completely - hardware and software. Then reinstall it.
