You don't really "install" them per se, DOS programs don't use the windows print drivers.
What I would do is disable spooling of MS-DOS print jobs (it's an option under printer properties), then find a print setting in your DOS apps that works with your printer.
Hopefully your printer supports something common, like PCL, or even something like a LaserJet 4+ driver if you have a laser printer.
If you're using a "win printer," life is going to be MUCH more difficult for you.
