Printer Error: "Access Code is Invalid"

I have a small network running off a server with NT4.0. 5 workstations, 4 running Win 98 1 running Win XP. There is an HP 8100N printer on the network (no print server). All workstations previously could print using the PCL 6 driver with no problems until about 1 week after adding the Win XP workstation. Now, when attempting to print using the PCL6 driver each workstation returns an error that says the Access Code is Invalid, and the printer is taken offline. The XP workstation can still print using its XP PCL6 driver with no problems. I have gone to the server and changed printer permissions to allow all users full control, but they still can't access the PCL driver. I had a temporary workaround which involved installing the Win 98 HP PCL5e driver for each workstation, and that worked for about 3 hours then workstations using the Turbo Tax Proseries application would no longer print any fonts using the PCL 5e driver. That program would print lines and boxes of the tax forms, but would not print any fonts. I suspect the XP workstation has somehow sabotaged the PCL 6 driver, and may have also corrupted the 5e as well, although I don't see how it could affect any of the workstations because none of them have any shared files or directories. I have not installed a PCL5e driver on the XP workstation.

Does anyone know how I can restore access to the PCL6 driver? I have deleted and reinstalled the printer and even downloaded the latest PCL6 driver from HP, but the workstations still cannot print to the PCL6 driver. There appear to be no security settings for that printer on the XP machine other than sharing of the printer is enabled, and I have also installed the Win 98 driver through the XP machine's multiple driver option. I really don't want to keep using the postscript driver as I get unexpected font results at times, and the 5e driver, although working now after a new driver install, may fail again if I can't figure out what's going on. Any Ideas???? Thanks
