Printer cost-of-ownership

It seems like our printers go through more ink in a day than I can drink out of a 7-11 Big Gulp, so I'm considering switching back to laser.

Monochrome laser printers are cheap, and of course the cost-per-page is the best on them, but even color laser printers are coming way down in price and are more economical in the long-run than inkjets.

Anyone know where to find a good roundup of printers of all kinds, their features (duplexing is a huge plus, scan/copy/fax is also nice), and their duty cycles/costs of ownership? Perhaps even a comparison to using a continuous ink system on an inkjet?

I've live and die with inkjets because of the cartridge prices. My epsons replacement cartridges are cheap, but not my hps. If I need Laser color, I use the school's HP.
The HP Color Laserjet is excellent up to legal, but my epson wide format(16x20) is the one. There are sometimes great deals on eBay for hp color lasers and one day I may get one. Oh well, I can still dream.....
