Greetings. I'm working on an older laptop running Windows 98. The printer is a HP Deskjet connected via the parallel port.
When trying to print from Word or any other program, you get the error that Windows was unable to print and brings up the generic troubleshooting (check plugs, power, etc).
If you reinstall the printer driver, you can then print the test page and it prints just fine (from the install program), however from any other application will not print. If you then later go into printer properties and select from there to print a test page, it will not print.
Ideas ?
