Print to Epson 740 through USB on Win ME

It just won't frikkin print for me, I don't know wtf is wrong. Anyone tried before? Epson's site doesn't have specific WinME drivers but said the Win98 drivers should be fine.

I have the Epson 740 and used it a lot with USB when i used to have 98 on my rig.
IIRC you had to change the port type to "EPSCUB" or something similar in the "Port" tab under printer options.
Im now using XP which installs the printer USB during install ready to go upon first boot so i now never get to play with it anymore

yup, methinks I'm going to be switching to XP as soon as newegg gets Seagate Barracude IVs in stock and I get one. Frikkin IBM 60GXP is making such a whine grr

That was my setup to,, W2K now, but I could not print from mozzila, everything else worked fine though. later todd
