Print Server - Queue Reporting?

We have a print server at work that everyone uses to isntll printers and print through. Our printers don't have any biult in way to do reporting on who's printing what and how much and things like that.

Is there any sort of utility I can put on the print server to have it monitor a specific printer and record User IDs of who's printing? I know that when we print, it passes data such as User ID, Document name, etc to the printer because it shows up on the display. I just want a way of parsing that data out when they print so our print server can log that so we can see who's printing.

Mainly I just want User ID, number of pages, color or B&W, etc.

Any help would be great!

EDIT: Oh yeah, this would have to be a free utility as well since this is at work and I have no funding for anything. heh.

enabling auditing of the printer on the print server.

How do I do that? Our print server is just a machine running Windows 2003 server that we installed some printer on and have people link to it to install theirs...
