I have a dlink dp101 print server that is functioning well when I print to the pingable ip address on my windows expee machine but I am unable to print to the print server from my windoes 98 box. I can successfully ping the ip address of the print server from my windows 98 machine but recieve a "Unable to communicate with printer" when attempting to print. The printer is set up on both machines to the same ip address/port that is correct, as verified by dlinks print server utility, ps admin. The windows 98 machine has internet connection sharing installed and is acting as a dhcp sever for my other machines to get on the internet. Could the fact that it is a dhcp server be an issue? I cant see how the print server could be requesting an ip address but I am really wondering what is going on here.
If more information is needed I will be pleasantly enlightened to know just what it is.
Thanks in advance
