Print digital pictures

Is it possible to convert digital pictures to regular and then print?

Yes! Digital photos can be printed just take the media to any photo finishing center (I find Walmart is the cheapest about 29 cents a photo)

 

But do they print to a laser or convert it to regular media first?

you mean print it with a color laser? not that I know of , all mine are printed out on regular Fuji print paper.

 

But what technology do they use for print? Is it ink or laser, or something else?

It is printed digitally direct to photo paper in almost all instances.

Usually inkjet based.

Actually, I think that the photo printers in a lot of stores (the more expensive ones anyway) are dye-sublimation based IIRC.

I stand corrected. I just thought that they didn't tend to use laser technology.
