Typical political correctness whining. Nobody was forced into anything, the guys got in a fight and got the option of being suspended or having to hold hands for an hour. Big whoop.

Why would that option even exist? Is that the official school policy? Last I checked, suspension was the normal punishment for fighting. That's like a cop who arrests someone and then gives them the option of going to jail or blowing him off. The principal should be disciplined for putting his own fetish above policy.

In 4th grade the entire class would have to hold hands walking to lunch if the class was too disruptive earlier. Don't see the big deal tbh. Maybe the kids even came out of it with a better understanding and acceptance of the other.

I woud have loved that teacher . I a small man 155lbs when healthy. Been wrenching since 9 years old and have a grip like that of a vice . I would love to hold my enemies hand in my grip . This teacher ordering physical contact would have been his end . When he has to explain a broken hand.
