Princeton 17" FP Only on for 2 Seconds - Why ???

I have a Princeton 17" FP display that has worked fine for a couple of years. All of a sudden it will only stay on for 2 seconds and then go black. Cycling the power and it repeats the same thing. Moved it to another computer and go the same thing.

When it is on, the display looks great.

What could be the problem?

Hope that it's still under warranty. Seems like the PSU fried out on you. Send Princeton an email and see if they can get you a new one. Otherwise, see if you can RMA it.

Good News - Found that my Princeton monitor is an 18" and that it is covered under the 3 year warranty by 4 months. They are sending me a new monitor, hopefully 19", since they do not make 18's anymore.

I just have to box up my old one and send to them after new one arrives.

Wow...they upgrade for free? Sounds too good to be true. Don't be surprised if you get a 17"
