Saw the movie last night, went in with incredibly low expectations and was thoroughly surprised. The movie is not great by any standards, and the casting was weird in a couple of different ways, but it managed to be an entertaining "summer blockbuster" style movie.

If you like the franchise or action movies in general, it's worth a trip, otherwise, it's at least worth a rental.

I'm ganna go see it tomorrow. Not expecting much and seeing as it's based on a game, I never expect much for those types of movies.

I wasn't expecting much, but it was actually fairly entertaining. Not bad for a video game movie.

The first 15 minutes or so was pretty boring, but the rest was good. I enjoyed it overall. I can't see this movie making too much money since there were barely any people watching.

We go to the movies nearly every weekend if there's something out we want to see. They've been running previews for this months and months and months. That usually means to me that they've got a loser on their hands and they're desperately trying to build some interest.

In this case, I've seen so many previews of it, that I don't think I could bear to sit through it.

I thought it was pretty decent... the banter between the Prince and Princess was probably the liveliest part. I only wish they would've kept at least some remnant of the sands turning people into mindless skeletal zombie things. But hey, you gotta expect some changes since they have to give the character a name :p. Unnamed Prince doesn't roll off the tongue too well.

Did it have a scene where all the characters were invisible and you couldn't tell what the fuck was going on?

If you played the game, how was the movie compared to it? I've never played it, but there were parts that felt very game-like. I thought it was pretty awesome when the camera pans to the surroundings and during the acrobatic moments.

And then the main character dies like 10 times before he figures out it's 4 footfalls before the jump and than two more to escape the breaking plates?

There were some differences, but some had to be there. Like in the game, the prince has no name. They also had the prince by himself other than the woman as everyone was turned into a skeleton (except the baddie, prince and woman). So they added the King and other two princes in for a bit of flavor.

Saw it tonight. Decent summer flick. I wish the princess had kept her memory of what happened.

The movie was entertaining and fun to watch but nothing spectacular. Somewhere around a 5/10.
