Prince of Persia 3 - Display Resolution - How do I go above 1024 x 768

Hello all - I just installed Prince of Persia 3 - The Two Thrones on my PC and went into the video options to adjust the screen resolution and the maximum it will allow me to go on the options is 1024 x 768 x 32. I've got a 19" LCD monitor with a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 and would like to use that instead. Any body know how to increase the resolution? Thanks in advance!!
 
I don't think the problem is my video card - I have a 7800gtx. I don't believe it is the monitor either - it is a Hyundai L90D+ and I've been able to play everything else at 1280x1024.
