Well, first, it's time for my weekly cleanup stats. Nothing changed in the Stallion race, but here are the Pony stats:

4_____33211087___Team 2ch (-331232, ~11 bad WUs)
5_____27096137___BOINC@MIXI (-90245, ~3 bad WUs)
6_____25907869___Aggie The Pew (-60204, ~2 bad WUs)
7_____16504292___TeAm AnandTech (-150663, ~5 bad WUs)
8_____15199638___Crunching@EVGA (-150940, ~5 bad WUs)
9_____15052262___Russia (-30185, ~1 bad WUs)
10____13248040___Dutch Power Cows (-90767, ~3 bad WUs)

Now, second, there's news from PrimeGrid about the next race:

Once again, I'm asking for your opinions :)

We're currently nearing the end of our current set of Seventeen or Bust work units. This will have a significant effect on the Double Top Secret Mystery challenge. It looks like we'll be getting a new set of numbers, but these will be about 65% longer than the current ones. That means about 16 days on average per work unit, for the average system. This leaves us with several options:

1) Leave everything as is, which means excluding a lot of people a lot of people.
2) Make the challenge a lot longer (28 days). This of course comes with an increase in challenge points.
3) Switch challenge project over to PSP and leave the length at 15 days.

I have my own opinion of course, but I'm curious to hear what you all prefer. Please also include why you prefer the option you prefer
If you want your opinion heard, post it in that thread.

As for me, I'm not sure. 1 won't work for me. 2 seems too long, but SoB WUs aren't getting any shorter, so this is probably the last chance to to a SoB race. :hmm:

Thanks for the update & the heads up.

My last stallion validated today. I've got 3 ponies pending.

I'll post over in the primegrid thread. I'm not keen on a "28 day challenge". I'm voting 3 for PSP.

11____7383790____BOINC.Italy (-0, ~0 bad WUs, 0%)
12____6970582____PrimeSearchTeam (-0, ~0 bad WUs, 0%)

So, BOINC@MIXI fell back into 6th. This race is full of close finishes that could keep changing for months.

Pony stats:
4_____33211087___Team 2ch (-331232, ~11 bad WUs, 0.99%)
5_____27066042___BOINC@MIXI (-120340, ~4 bad WUs, 0.44%)
6_____25907869___Aggie The Pew (-60204, ~2 bad WUs, 0.23%)

10____13157442___Dutch Power Cows (-181365, ~6 bad WUs, 1.36%)

The slow erosion of scores continues. Not much to report except that I added percentages. ;)

As for the issue I brought up last week, the decision was: 3) Switch challenge project over to PSP and leave the length at 15 days.

Probably yes ... by that time I have reached the Einstein@home goal (25M) and my next goal will be to get to 1 000 000 000 credits ... PrimeGrid anbd GPUGrid are great for that.
