Peter put me up to it For whatever reason my "folding" 1090t has been a rockstar, getting a steady diet of 40-50 point tasks. It has scored literally twice as many points as the 1045t @ 3.08 ghz that has five cores dedicated... And that 2500k? It has been obliterating tasks worth 12-18 points???

Thanks. I am hoping you'll stay on there too - time to borg a PC or two or call that brother with access to hardware that needs testing?

UPS should be dropping off some new coolers for me to replace two TX3's that I have that are just not keeping things cool enough. I will show some restraint and not touch them for the next 22 hours.

My Hyper-212+'s showed up Monday night... looking forward to unboxing them and getting the basement quieted down. Not as excited about that as I was though... since you ruined it...

THe boxes are sitting here staring at me. Had to open the 620 and look at it. Looks like it will be fun and should help cool down the 1055T.
Wife conveniently has a hair appointment at 12:30 tomorrow. Race ends at noon.
My 4 year old will be my helper (someone has to keep track of the case screws).

I look forward to geeking out with my son. Since he is 7mo old now, trying involve him would likely end with us in the hospital getting some of those case screws removed from his stomach... Hopefully it goes well for you tomorrow

Well, I took the hex-core (1045T 95W) out of my HTPC, and put the BE-2400 (AM2 45W dual-core 2.3Ghz) in. Running BOINC on two cores, temps are still kinda scary and slowly drifting upwards. Sheesh. I would have hoped that this case could handle a 45W chip running flat-out, but that may be a mistaken assumption. Now I remember why I didn't attempt DC on my HTPC before. :|

I know that one of my computers throws up a "bad" result now and then. That computer has produced 122 valid results, 7 are pending and 4 are invalid (for a total 256 points). No other of my computers has produced invalid results as yet ...
I doubt that we, as a team, will "miss" more than a few thousand points ... and the difference between BOINCstats and TeAm AnandTech is more than 270K points ...
