We have a lot more participants than I expected, given that I forgot to post the thread for this race. :)

Sorry, guys, I am bailing out of the race so I can do some math modeling (I have only one working PC).
I'm having trouble avoiding doing some video encoding during this race. Afterwards, my computer may be working for a week straight!

But at least now I know I'll beat you in this race.

In the Challenge series the pending WUs count too. If they do not validate correctly, the points are deducted after the race. So you are contributing to the TeAm's efforts! :)

Pending credits count if they're on the right project and downloaded during the race. If they're not listed in the stats they don't count. I don't see you listed in the stats. Are you on the right project (TRP LLR)? Did you download the work within the past three days?

In the Challenge race a top placement gives a lot of points (varies with race) and the first 200 crunchers get a deminishing number of points. Those who finish at 201 or lower do not get points.

Thanks for the stats. This is especially interesting, as I didn't think I finished in the top 100 in any of the challenges.

You are right. In the individual races the top-200 are rewarded. Previous post corrected.

Can't do any juggling anymore - work gets in the way of crunching ... ;)
No more than 5 - 6 more WUs will be finished before the end.

Thanks for the stats Peter!

Looks like I can do 12 more WUs. Possibly 2 more than that but it will be very close.

Looks like, as long as we didn't have too many errors, we should stay at 12th place. :)

My last three WUs, ones I was juggling, all reported with "Computing Error". These errors won't hurt us will they?

I think they had errors after Asteroid WUs started?

Grr. Apparently, the minor storm borked my internet just enough to send BOINC into a tizzy. I had a few eligible tasks that needed [Retry Now] to get uploaded.

If your computer knew there was an error before it sent the result, that wasn't counted in the race. It's the sneaky errors that are only found by double-checks that hurt us. So far, it looks like we haven't had any. :) But double-checks will take a few weeks probably.
