If you need a card now. There is a Zotac 12gb 3080 for $799. 12gb is good for future memory constraints and this card should last a while.

EVGA has them as well on their site.

Yeah, if you can get a 3080 12GB for around $800 or less, that is a pretty good deal IMO. Those cards are basically 3080 Ti equivalents. They seem to get a big boost from the extra memory bandwidth from the wider bus.

If I was willing to spend that much on a GPU, I'd be picking up a 6900XT. They're selling under $800 now - $730 during Prime days.

I never saw any 6900XTs for that during Prime Day. But its Prime day. IMHO. Worst way to find deals. Back To School sales and Leading up to Black Friday sales are the best days at least from my point of view.

I did do a search and found a 6900XT at Newegg for $850.

Oh yeah now I remember seeing this.

Will never buy Gigabyte again. Burned on a warranty issue by them and then the Newegg Blowing up PS Bundle thing that Gamers Nexus found. Yeah Never unless free.

well to be honest, i consider gigabyte the middle of 3 evils...
The worst being ASUS then gigabyte, followed by MSI.
You can't expect any RMA's to be honored unless you documented everything, as they will find a way to deny you.
And they always give you a nasty refurb... meaning, it wasn't even dipped in a ultrasonic cleaner, and sometimes has flux residue all over the place.
