I'm just curious as to what this program does.

I'm running it and it says starting factoring etc...

How does this load up the CPU? Is it ok to leave the room with the CPU running this?

The program is testing for Prime numbers.

...and yes, never leave the room while it's running...otherwise your system will explode.

It would only melt down your CPU if your HSF fell off. I'd give it a couple seconds unless it automatically shut down. Seriously though, without cooling those processors fry instantly. Given adequate cooling, P95 stresses the processor and will elevate the temperature, but probably no higher than say 60C.

right now MBM5 shows 26C/40C as highs. Is that ok? Its only been running for 30 mins. How will I know if there are errors? Does the readout come as errors are foudn or at the end of the 24 hour stint?
