you mean you havent even started to test it and it crashes on you? lol... try raising the vcore to 1.7-1.75. I need 1.75 on my 2500+ to run at 3200+... some people are just lucky i guess that they could do it on def voltage. :(

Okay, bring vcore up to 1.7 fixed the crash. What's wrong if this message shows up on prime95:

SUMOUT error occurred

If it errors, your overclocks are too high, or not enough voltage is given. Your system can't run stable at the settings you've given it. It could be the CPU, Memory, AGP/PCI cards (If there are low dividers), or even the Mobo might not be able to accept the FSB speeds.

If its a p4, then 1.7 is about too high. For Athlons, its okay to go to about 1.9v, I would hestitate to go any higher unless you have good cooling.

Normally an instant failure is RAM related... at least... that's what I've found to be true. If the CPU is that unstable, I usually won't even make it to the desktop before it locks up.

well when I ran my system at 211 X 11
my prime95 crashes whenever I run the torture test..
I tried reinstalling it... and the same thing happens..

so I decided to downclock to 205 X 11... and everything seems to run perfectly..

I bet its my CPU causing the crash..
coz the ram works fine at 211FSB
