i downloaded prime95 (mainly for the stress test) but when i try running it, it says: "ERROR: ROUND OFF (0.4999990548) > 0.40. Anyone know how to fix this, or know of another program i can use to perform a stress test?

This is most likely a problem with your processor. If you want to fix it, you will need to back off with the overclocking or try to cool it better. If it isn't overclocked, then you have some real problems, and may want to look into some better cooling, or take you chip back and get a new one.

i have overclocked my 850 thunderbird to 1005, but it doesnt work even when i have it at the factory settings. im using the vantec FCE-62540D, with temps around 95 F/ 35 C when i try to to do the test, so i dont think its the cooling.

Prime95 is very useful to detect whether you OC your CPU too much or not.. but if you said that even running in stock setting (850/100) it will still give you round off errors, then something might be wrong with your CPU or maybe it's a memory issue (unlikely).
