Prime95 question

now i don't exactly plan on using Prime95 for DC purposes, but i would like to use it as a CPU stress testor. in the options menu, am i supposed to enter the default rated CPU clock frequency, or the overclocked speed i am currently running?

Sunny129, if you want to use Prime95 as a CPU "load" test, I would suggest entering the freq. your CPU is running, be it OC or not, hope this helps 🙂

I believe you enter in the CPU speed which it is running at.

I dont know about other systems, but i had a P4 @ 2400 Mhz and only put 2133 in the box (from a previous overclock), and once i updated it to 2400, it went slightly faster. I've had the opposite happen (more Mhz in the setup than actual), but theres no bad consequences.
