So I oc'd a e4500 to 3.2 on a P35-DS3R with GSkill DDR2 800's rated for 4-4-3-5, I've got it set to 400x8. This is my first OC, I pretty much used Regalk's post as a guide. My Vcore is at 1.34 in bios, cpuz says its 1.312. I've got my memory multipler at 2.50. Don't know if you need the info to tell me what this error means or not..

The error is FATAL ERROR: Resulting sum was 33779167833766.13, expected: 33945872526862.59
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file.

There is no stress.txt file to look at, so i'm hoping one of you guys can tell me what this means and what I should try to fix it. I hosted some images of my info incase it will help.

The first worker thread ran for over 10 hours with no errors. It was the 2nd worker thread that ran into an error and was stopped when I woke up.

It means your overclock isn't stable at that speed, which could be for a number of reasons.

What did CoreTemp say while you were running Prime95?

Your memory multiplier doesn't sound right. If you're running at 1600MHz FSB, you should be running the RAM at DDR2-800.

I'm using the same board. If you want a 1:1 memory ratio, set the memory "multiplier" to 2.00. I use 450 FSB with my RAM at DDR2-900 using this setting.

I tried 450 FSB, machine would not even boot. Now that I've set the memory multiplier to 2.00 with 400 FSB, Prime95 fails on the first test.

4-4-3-5, eh? Shouldn't that last digit be something like 15? Try loosening your RAM timings to 5-5-5-15 2T first, and then test Prime95. That should eliminate RAM from the equation and tell you if your CPU is stable or not. If not, then you probably need to increase the vcore a notch or two. After you get your CPU stable, then try tightening your RAM timings to 4-4-4-12 or something. Test using Blend in Prime95, that tests the RAM a lot.

Well, I'm not sure. It says 4-4-3-5 on the modules.

Could be a RAM issue... Roundoff errors are usually CPU related. Sounds more RAM related to me.
