Prime95 question continued...

After reading the dirty guide, Z mentions that p95 for 12 hours would indicate system stability.

Which one of the 3 torture tests is he talking about?

I would imagine the one that uses max heat.

its so hard... such a toss up between which one to run...

some say small fft

others say large fft

i'm personally a fan of the small fft...

I know exactly what you guys mean. But is max heat really the answer. And yeah about small fft as well. I have read this in a similar post. What do you all think about blend test?

i hear blend is a no no...

if you want to test your ram, you're better off with a program like memtest

My CPU pumps some heat, 35C Idle and 57C while running P95 torture test.

Ok I stopped it at 4.5 hours on prime 95 max heat. Everything is clear. I wanted to play some BF2....lol

For me the max temp it reaches is 49c....

I will run it again tonight and see if it goes till 12hours.

Yesterday, I got an error in my 19th hour of running Prime95 Small FFTs. I increased the voltage slightly and it ran overnight and will run for the rest of the night. I usually like to go for 24+ hours to insure stability.

OK i just primed 12hrs 45mins with no errors. I think this will satisfy me.
