Prime95 or ??

I just started o/c my new system and I heard that Prime95 is the best way to stress it to verify
that it is stable. I am looking for a quick test that I can run and get a pretty good idea
in 10-15 minutes. Would that be Prime95 or something else?

Prime95 seem to give me higher temps compared to SETI@home.

It is a relatively good idea to run Prime95, but running it only for 10-15mins is not. Try to leave it running at least overnight.

You can use SiSoft Sandra Standard. It's free. Use the Sandra burn in wizard. It doesn't stress like Prime 95 but it doesn't take overnight or 24 hours either. Usually completes 10 loops in about an hour.

it's a good initial test to see if you are too high w/o enough vcore

it'll stop running in less than a minute if your o/c is beyond what your vcore can handle or if you have a wall...

there are other tests that are better but it's not too bad of an initial test at least
