Prime95 and Dual Core

Wondering if someone can give me a clear answer. I have a dual core amd cpu and when you run prime 95 on both cores(2 seperate instances) can you select the option on torture test -In place large fft's ? I see that some say you have to select custom and manually set the amount of ram to use for each core. I have 2 gb. If I select the custom option and set the ram to 900 mb for each core I can run forever but if I select the large fft's for both cores I can run about 20 - 30 minutes before 1 core will fail with a error.

Monitor your memory usage as you're running the test. Is prime95 hitting swap at all?

you could also just run Orthos, it's a lot easier to set up than dual prime.

Yeah, Orthos works every bit as well as Prime95, but only takes 2 seconds to set up, even for dual-core processors.
